  • Administrative means to seek reconsideration of an expedited removal and reinstatement decisions from CBP/ICE
  • Requesting reconsideration or re-interview by the asylum office of credible fear or reasonable fear denials
  • Representing clients seeking IJ review of credible fear or reasonable fear denials
  • Federal court challenges to expedited removal and reinstatement orders

VI. Family Detention – Bond & Litigation Issues

  • Challenging bond decisions via habeas in district court

Continuing Legal Education:

This course has been approved for Minimum Continuing Legal Education credit by the State Bar of Texas Committee on MCLE in the amount of 6.0 credit hours, of which zero (0) credit hours will apply to legal ethics/professional responsibility credit.
